This place is called Nankoweap. A favorite camp for many Grand Canyon River Runners. This place offers magnificent views down river especially at sunset. Many people hike to a ruins way up in the cliffs to experience this wonderful place. Since I did a painting called Sunset from the Nankoweap Graineries Trail, I thought I would do this one from a slightly different perspective. Life looks different between the ears of a mule you know!
